Fremont Waterfall | Friday Favorite

Freemont Waterfall This week, I spent a full day in Capitol Reef National Park in Utah.  I was drawn to the Fremont Waterfall because I have been itching to take long exposure shots of running water. I'll admit, this was my first attempt at such a shot.

I had a quick hike into the waterfall from a parking area just off Highway 24. I was able to set my tripod up on the side rocks and capture two tiers of the falls.  I'd love to go back in the spring and take another shot from further down on the riverside when the trees and grass surrounding the falls and river are alive and green!
