Earlier this week I shared my road trip plans for fall foliage in West Virginia. The weather was lovely and I managed to find some great color. A few areas were just past prime, while others were preparing to peak in the coming days.
One of my favorite stops was Blackwater Falls State Park. The water was moving quickly and the trees were a nice shade of orange, yellow and green. The sky was also overcast, allowing me to capture a few long exposure shots without the help of a neutral density filter. The peaceful walk down to the falls was a perfect way to end my day exploring :)
