Tossing my camera up in the air, while capturing photographs, is a new technique for me. In the event this turned into a camera dropping project, I pulled out my old Nikon D7000 with an 18-55mm lens. With the help of a strap, the camera only landed outside my hands once.
The shutter speed was set anywhere between half a second and two seconds. Using the self timer (set at two seconds), I depressed the shutter button and tossed the camera right before or as the shutter opened.
Goal: Capture photographs with unique light trails, produced while tossing the camera.
